Mary Elizabeth Elkins, 77, of Aurora, Ohio went home to be with the Lord peacefully surrounded by loving family on October 7, 2023. She was born on December 11, 1945, in Davey, West, Virginia to the late Harry and Alice Broomfield (nee Rakes).

Mary will be deeply missed by her family. Beloved wife of 60 years of Virgil Elkins, the love of her life; loving mother of Howard (Bridgette) Elkins, Dianna Elkins Barone, David (Napa) Elkins, Michael Elkins, John Elkins, and Jason (Kim) Elkins; cherished grandmother of Travis (Kat) Elkins, Brandon (Callie) Elkins, Haley Elkins, Kayla (James) Stubblefield, Joshua Elkins, Cynthia Elkins, Sarah Elkins, Chelsey (Taylor) Magill, Caitlin (Brian) Zilla, Naithan (Cassidy) Elkins, Poom Elkins, Jacob Barone, Joseph Barone, Marissa Barone (deceased), Julia Elkins, Austin Elkins, Alexis "Lexi" Elkins, and Brodie Elkins; loving great-grandmother of 17 great grandchildren; dear sister of Harry (Cristina) Broomfield, Jr., Pat (Chuck) White, Carol McNulty, Donna Townsley, and Betty Callas; Aunt of special nieces Leah and Laura; sister-in-law of Lydia; and a host of extended family and dear friends. She leaves behind her love that will always be carried in each and every one of our hearts. We look forward to our heavenly reunion.

Visitation and funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Brady Lake Baptist Church, 6296 Cox Avenue, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. Visitation from 10am-12 pm. Service at 12 noon. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg, Ohio
