In Loving Memory of
Mary Ann Finley
October 26, 1948 - September 10, 2023
Mary Ann Finley, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2023, at the age of 74. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 26, 1948, to the late Alfred and Phyllis Palmer (nee Hahn).
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James W. Finley; her sons, James "Jimmy" Finley and Andrew D. Finley; and her brother, Chip Palmer. She is now reunited with her loved ones in eternal peace.
Mary will forever hold a cherished place in the hearts of her family. She was the loving mother of David (Celisa) Finley, Amy (David) Kolarik, Anne Marie (Justin) Gillium, and Christopher (Kristen) Finley. Mary was the cherished grandmother of Elijah Gillium, Hannah Gillium, Jacob
Gillium, Aislinn Finley, Emerson Finley, Ryan Kolarik, Cullen Kolarik, Connor Finley, and Caleb Finley. She was the dear sister of Dave (Sue) Palmer, Sue (Mike) Farrar, Beth Palmer, and Phil (Cini) Palmer. Mary also leaves behind a host of extended family and dear friends.
Mary was the rock and the biggest strength for her family, always right by their side from the very beginning and forever residing in their hearts. With her six children, her life was dedicated to serving others. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring the smooth running of her
large family and supporting her husband in his small business endeavors. Her love, service, and devotion to God were evident in every aspect of her life. Mary's great sense of humor filled their home with laughter and created countless joyful memories.
Now, she has been reunited with her beloved husband and sons, and we can only imagine the joyous reunion. We will miss her deeply. Mary was not just an amazing mom and grandma; she was a pillar of strength and love for all who were fortunate to know her. In this time of grief, may we find solace in the knowledge that Mary's spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were touched by her warmth and kindness. May she rest in eternal peace, free from pain and suffering, and may her memory continue to inspire us all.
A private visitation and graveside service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Crown Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087.
