Mary Theresa Johnson went home to be with the Lord

On September 1 ^st , 2021 at the age of 97.  She is the daughter of

Julius Kasperski and Sophie Wisneski Kasperski,

Mary was one of their seven children; Helen, Jane,

Pat, Jean, Eleanor, and Edward.

Mary was widowed on March 14, 1974 from

Her beloved husband Orville K. Johnson.

Mary is best known by her friends as Micky.  She

is survived by her 3 sons Bob, Jim, and Frank. Micky was

Best known as a beautician for some 60 years.

She was the owner of Micky's beauty salon on

Main Street in Ravenna, Ohio in the mid 1960s through

1974. She started her career as a beautician in Cleveland,

Ohio at the age of 17.  Soon after she opened her own beauty shop near East Superior Avenue and

32 street.  Because of WW2 she decided to help support

Our troops, so she got a job at S.K. Wellman. That is where

She met her husband Orville. While pregnant with Frank her

3 ^rd son, they decided to move to the country and build a house in Streetsboro, Ohio.

Micky moved to Streetsboro in the summer of 1956 and there

She raised her family with Orville. Micky was also known for crocheting afghans and making counted cross stitch pictures. She enjoyed attending bible studies where she made many friends.

Micky will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Orville,

On September 17 ^th at Crown Hill Cemetery. The viewing and Memorial service will begin at 11:00 am till 12:30 at Hine Funeral Home at Crown Hill. Their address is 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087; phone: 330-963-4100.
