Maxine Elaine Brown, 80, of East Cleveland, Ohio passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025. She was born on January 31, 1945, in Bristol, Virginia to the late Olan Farris and Nancy Dickerson. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her grandmother, Maxine Dickerson; and her four brothers, Eugene Calloway, Richard McClanahan, Gerald McClanahan, and Brian Calloway.

Maxine will be dearly missed by her family. Loving mother of Karen (Steven) Duncan, Ramona Zeray, and James Oxendine II; cherished grandmother of Dianna LaTaey West and Oscar David Jones, Sr.; dear sister of Lisa Washington-Glenn, Amanda (Larry) Rutledge, Walter (Barbara) Baker, and Michael (Joanne) Baker; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
