Mazell Haynes (Ne: Norris) 82 of Macedonia, Ohio passed away at home surrounded by family on January 1, 2018. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years James "Frank" Haynes, daughter Marcia Herrage (Jae), and son Marc. Devoted grandmother to Kelly Roszak (Eric), Vincent "VJ" and Laura. Cherished great-grandmother to Emily, Eric Jr., Alivia, Alexa.
Loving daughter to Laura and Harrison Norris (deceased). Sister to Frona Freels, Zola Stanislawski (deceased), Dorthy Cox (deceased), Rachel Phillips (deceased) and loving aunt to many. Mazell was born in Deer Lodge, Tennessee on March 1, 1935, living there until moving to Detroit, Michigan where she met the love of her life. Mazell and Frank celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary August 31, 2017. They loved each other dearly, were best friends and soulmates. Mazell started a career in the telephone service industry as a switchboard operator at Michigan Bell and retired after over 30years of service as a supervisor with Ohio Bell.
She loved to read, do word search puzzles and make plastic canvas crafts which she shared with family and friends. The thing she loved doing most was spending time with her family and friends.
