Melissia Margaret "Mitzi" Wood (nee Ross), age 91, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2023, surrounded by her children.

Beloved wife of the late Roy Wood and late Anthony Farace; dear mother of Jacqueline (David) Adamany, Anthony (Kathie) Farace, Jr., and Linda (David) Farace. She was the dear grandmother of Jessica Adamany, Nicholas Adamany, and her step-grandchildren Lindsay Gardner,
Derek Neidert, and Alex Neidert; great-grandmother to Francesca, Tyler, Abbey, Kianoa, Ava, and Rhiannon.

Besides her parents, Mitzi is pre-deceased by her siblings, Minnie, Celia, Mary, Howard, and Alfred.

Mitzi took pride in her many years as Executive Assistant to the Academy of Osteopathic Medicine Director. She enjoyed spending time with friends at The Forest City Yacht Club in Cleveland and her time spent as a member of the City of Independence Senior Organization. She enjoyed her favorite chair and a great book in her quiet time. Mitzi's positive and faithful attitude drew many friends over her lifetime. She imparted years of wisdom to those she met, leaving each one with a special memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to the Hospice organization of your choice as they
are the angels that walk among us.

A private graveside service for the family is scheduled.
