MERVIN EARL VANTUYL, age 95, of Akron entered into rest September 30, 2010. Loving father of Nancy (Tony) Bistransky, and Rebecca Morris; step father of Bruce (Karen) Hanson and Linda (Dave) Simmons; devoted grandfather of Jim, John, Bill, Edie, Eddie, Alex, Janelle, Jon, Jolene, Wendy and great grandfather of twelve. Preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy (nee Baldwin), his second wife Svea (nee Holmstrom and son James Wallace Vantuyl. Mr. Vantuyl was a W.W.II Army Veteran who served four years in the South Pacific. The family will receive friends SUNDAY, OCTOBER 3, FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M.
