Known for his love of storytelling, Mike was also known as the "babbling cock". He could captivate a room with his tales, even if you had heard them many times before. Whether reminiscing about his childhood or recounting adventures from his many camping trips, his stories were cherished by all who listened.

Some of Mike's favorite hobbies included working in his workshop building bird and squirrel feeders, and riding his Harley Davidson.  Camping was a recent adventure, as was playing in the mud with his new jeep along with Jessica and Buster Bear.  His connection with his fur baby was undeniable and they were nearly inseparable. Mike recently discovered a love of cooking and was able to create delicious meals that he and Jessica would share with friends.

Mike will be deeply missed by his family and friends now that he is finally pain free and at peace.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later time by family. The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
