Minnie Gray Davis, 95, of Hudson, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025. She was born in Hayneville, Alabama on September 2, 1929, to the late Grover Cleveland Favor and Mary D. Caffey. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, James Davis; her sons, James E. Davis and Prentiss Davis; and her siblings: Margaret Katherine, Henry Neal, Willie Mack, Mary Francis, and Annie Lee.

Minnie will be dearly missed by her family. Loving mother of Reeda A. Durden (Davis); cherished grandmother of Antoine Davis, Alexsis Durden, Ariel Durden, Avanti Durden, Aaron Durden, Aloneet Durden, Adam Durden, Aidan Davis, and Alayna Davis; dear great-grandmother of December, Malachi. Iris, Ezra, Messiah, Ezekiel, and Ahmad; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. A funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 9:00 am., also at Crown Hill. Interment to follow service at Crown Hill Cemetery.
