September 3, 1956 – February 23, 2025

Neal "Peanut" Potter Jr., age 68, passed away on February 23, 2025, in Chicago, IL. He was born on September 3, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Neal is survived by his daughter Mary (Keith), his grandchildren Kaleb, Chase & Emma Gura, his longtime partner Nancy Craxton and brothers Wayne (Bernice) and Mike (Jean) as well as many nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his father Neal Potter Sr., his mother Louise (nee Lowe), sister Phyllis, brother Don and nephew Wayne.

As a longtime resident of Parma, Ohio, Neal moved to Downers Grove, Il., to be closer to his grandchildren. He retired from Ford Motor Company, but his love of cars never faded. His laugh was legendary and his quick-witted humor  brought tears of joy to many. He loved to play games from the lottery to monopoly and Connect4 with his granddaughter. He also leaves behind his beloved Cardi, a dog who stole his heart and his french fries.

A memorial and graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14, at 10 a.m., at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087.
