IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nicholas John
Sciarabba
November 29, 1946 – December 6, 2020
Nicholas J. Sciarabba of Twinsburg, Ohio entered the kingdom of heaven on Sunday, December 6, 2020. He was the proud son of Anthony and Pasqualena Sciarabba and brother to Paul Sciarabba (wife Ginetta). Nick was the loving husband to Rosemarie Sciarabba of 51 years. The two were high school sweethearts. Nick was the father to four sons of which he was ever so proud: Nick Jr., Anthony (wife Patty), Frank, and Rocco (wife Kara). He was blessed by five grandchildren: Anthony, Nicholas, Vince, Rocco, and Gianna whom he loved very much.
Nicholas was a proud graduate of Collinwood High School in Cleveland, Ohio. Nick proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for the City of Cleveland in the Division of Streets Department for 33.5 years. He took great joy in having been able to provide for his family in any way possible. His enjoyment came from golfing, time with family, relaxing and the occasional cigar. Nick had a deep interest in learning about the history of the United States, in particular WWII. In most recent years, Nick could be found tending to his lawn with a large glass of water and cigar in hand while riding his mower which provided an enjoyable hobby for him. He was a loyal Raiders fan of the NFL, and he also enjoyed all Cleveland sports. The time he spent running a small business with his son Nick brought him great pleasure.
Nicholas had a servant's heart and had compassion for others. He always strived to help those in need through his tithing and personal giving. Nick was a follower of Jesus Christ and lived his life knowing that he belonged to Him. Nick will be sorely missed by all who knew him, and his legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren.
An immediate family only service will be held for Nicholas Thursday, December 10 th where he will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio. A celebration of life will be held at a later time when it is safe to gather and celebrate Nick's life.
