PEGGY MACDOWELL, (neeKustala), age 88, entered into rest July 28, 2006. She was born October 26, 1917 in Lakewood Ohio and was a long time volunteer for the Lady of the Wayside in Avon, where she enjoyed helping others. Loving grandmother of Frederick (Allison) MacDowell of Matthews, NC, Shirley (Richard) Gavagan, Sr., of Frisco, TX and Christina MacDowell of Red Oak, TX, great grandmother of Parker, Brittany and Robert of Matthews, NC. Dear sister of Judy Lange of Willoughby. Mrs. MacDowell is also survived by daughter-in-law Erika MacDowell of Red Oak, TX along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Johnston F. MacDowell and sons Frederick and Kenneth; four brothers, Daniel, John, Frank, Walter and sister Mary.
