Phyllis A. Treichel, 89, of Maple Heights, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at 2:30 a.m. in her home under the comforting care of hospice.

Phyllis was born September 10, 1933 in Maple Heights, the daughter of the late Otto and Louise Dunkle Dombrowski and was a lifelong area resident.

She retired from Loctite where she was a senior buyer in the purchasing department.

Phyllis was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Covenant.  She was a member of the Sokol Lodge of Greater Cleveland and she volunteered for Meals on Wheels and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.

She was married to Donald E. Treichel on September 24, 1955 and he precedes her in death.

Phyllis is survived by three sons Allan R. Treichel with whom she made her home in Maple Heights, Bryan E. (Jennifer) Treichel of Oakwood Village, and Carl W. (Shanna) Treichel of Alexandria, VA; and by a granddaughter Parker Treichel.

Besides her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by her siblings Wilbert Dombrowski, Mildred Szabo, Henry Dombrowski, Doris Brune, Ethel Wilson, Beatrice Kynkor, and Robert Dombrowski.

A Wake will take place on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg.

A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at The Lutheran Church of the Covenant, 19000 Libby Road, Maple Heights, Ohio 44137, with Pastor Brad Ross as celebrant.

Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Phyllis' name to the church.
