R. GLEN HAWKINS, age 76, of Northfield, entered into eternal rest Saturday evening, January 29th, 2011. He is a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired bus mechanic from Nordonia City Schools. Glen enjoyed camping, spending time outdoors and with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by: his loving wife of 54 years, Thelma (Thomas); son, Mike (Robin) Hawkins of Northfield; grandchildren, Autumn Hawkins, Brian Miller, and Kim Mattison; great-grandchildren, Noah Hawkins, Zachary and Isaac Mattison; sisters, Meg Cowley and Gerry Hottle; and many more close friends and family. He is preceded in death by: siblings, Theodore Hawkins and Teen Hendricks. The family will receive friends TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 1, FROM 5-7 P.M. AT THE BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 8592 DARROW RD., TWINSBURG, OH (1/2 mile S. of 1-480 Rt. 91 exit). Funeral Services will be private. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
