RICHARD "Mike" NAVRATIL, age 87, passed away Wed. Feb. 17, 2010 peacefully at Mulberry Gardens Assisted Living in Munroe Falls, OH. Born in Cleveland, Sept. 13, 1922, he was the son of Charles and Barbara Navratil. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty and many brothers and sisters. Left to cherish his memory includes his sons, Kenneth (Val) Navratil of Greenwood, Indiana, Roger Navratil of Riverside, California, and Gary (Mary Alice) Navratil of Suffield, Ohio. Grandchildren, Rory (Pam) Navratil of Morgantown, Indiana, Danielle and Denver Wischmeier of Mooresville, Indiana, Brian (Christina) Navratil of Twin Peaks, California, Jessica Hartshorn of Las Vegas, Nevada and Dana (Jeremy) Menegay, of Suffield, Ohio, David (Rose) Navratil of Wooster, Ohio. Great grandchildren, Brittany Navratil of Morgantown, Indiana, Mickey (Melissa) Wilson of Sutton, New Hampshire, Bryce and Kory Navratil and Paige Pratt of Twin Peaks, California and Jillian Hartshorn of Las Vegas, Nevada, Caden Wischmeier of Moorsville, Indiana, Noah, Olivia, Andrew and Samuel Navratil of Wooster, Ohio and Molly, Mya and Emma Menegay of Suffield, Ohio. Great-great grandchildren Emma, Grace, Hayley, and Jacob Wilson of Sutton, New Hampshire. Mike was a proud member of the CC Camps and was a disabled World War II Veteran who fought during the European Campaign (1943 to 1945). He loved to work with his hands. He was a "certified" electrician, plumber, carpenter, painter, mechanic, builder, welder, You name it, dad could fix it! The family would like to extend our gratitude to all the wonderful people who work and live at Mulberry Gardens, for their friendship, service and professionalism.
