Robert E. Kanode, 97, of Streetsboro, passed away August 12, 2022. He was born in Pulaski, Virginia to Lance and Annabelle Kanode. Robert was a proud World War 2 army veteran. After his military service, he worked at Ford Motor Company until retirement. He liked Westerns and John Wayne movies, as well as classic cars and car shows. Robert cherished spending time with his beloved family and friends.

Survived by his children, Jerry (Kay) Kanode, Steve (Andi) Kanode; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and son in law Larry Baginski. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Gray); daughter, Sue Baginski; and his parents.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 10 AM- 11 AM at Crown Hill Funeral Home 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. A graveside service will immediately follow visitation at Crown Hill Cemetery.
