Robert Harold Light, 90, of Northfield, Ohio, surrounded by family at his home, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025. Bob was born in Beckley, West Virginia on April 2, 1935, to the late Carson and Elsie Light (nee Roberts). Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his half-sister, Gay Smith; and his son, Robert Carson Light.

Bob loved fishing, trips to Canada- he and a friend were "stuck" in Canada on 9-11! Bob also loved to spend hours in his garage woodworking, gardening, neighborhood fish fries, and clambakes. He made many good memories with his family and friends.

Robert will be dearly missed by his family. Beloved husband of 65 years, as of July 2025, to Patricia Light (nee Phillips); loving father of Pamela Goughnour, Steven Light, Cynthia Stefanek, Michael Light, Drema Maddix, and Marsha Light; cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren; 7 ½ great-grandchildren, one of whom he shares a birthday with 82 years between; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. A funeral ceremony will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 1:00 pm, also at Crown Hill Funeral Home. Entombment following service at Crown Hill Cemetery.
