Robert "Bill" William Horner, 94, of Oldsmar, Florida passed away peacefully in Rising Sun, Maryland on September 11, 2024. He was born in Greene County, Pennsylvania on January 6, 1930, to the late James E. & Myrtle Horner (nee Stull). Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Garnet P. Horner (Horne); his son, Robert Horner Jr., and his son-in-law, Orest Lysak.

Robert will be dearly missed by his family. Loving father of Debra Lysak, Cheryl (Larry) Shackelford, and George Horner; cherished grandfather of Charles (Jennifer) Rotter, Christina Rotter, George Horner Jr., Casey (Nichole) Shackelford, and Ryan Shackelford; great-grandfather of Jacquelyn, Kaleb, Kole, Kade, Katelynn, Leila, Grayson, Arianna, Barrett, and Beau; great-great-grandfather of Breson and Braven.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 4pm – 7pm at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. A funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 11am, also at Crown Hill Funeral Home. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery immediately following the service.
