Roger L. Porter of Aurora, passed away May 19, 2016 at the age of 89. Loving husband of Marty Porter (Nee Bach). Dear father of Linda Coontz (Ken), Dr. Susan Porter and Pamela Porter. Proud grandfather of Corryn Toney and Hazel Gregg. Preceded in death by his parents Mary and Herbert Porter, brother Clarence Porter and sister Janet Linn. Roger was a graduate of Shaker Hts. High and Ohio University. He was a US Army Veteran, serving in WWII. Roger was an Ohio Bell Executive and retired after 37 years of service. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling, serving for 16 years as the President of the Lakes of Aurora Condo Assn., and watching his beloved Cleveland Indians!
