"Sail On Sailor." -Beach Boys. Ronald Johnson sailed through the Mediterranean as a part of the US Navy. Born and raised in the suburbs of Cleveland, Johnson loved and participated in both football and basketball before tuning his attentions to another endeavor: motor racing. Upon being honorably discharged from the US Navy, Johnson  met Myra Daniloff of Ellsworth, Pa. The couple gave birth to and raised two sons, Eric Richard Johnson of Dana Point, Ca and Gary James Johnson of Aurora, Oh. Upon progressing his career, Ron ended up doing contract work for NASA and a host of aviation businesses. Ronald is preceded in death by Elmer and Doris Johnson, beloved wife of fifty six years, Myra Johnson and survived by brother Ken Johnson, sons Eric and Gary Johnson, daughter-in-law Julie and grand children Natasha and Eleanor and puppies Sunny and Daisy.
