ROSE MARIE POLANIEC, 91, of Hudson, Ohio, passed away on July 18, 2023 at her home surrounded by family.

Rose Marie was born on December 8, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of Frank J. and Josephine (Hochevar) Mozina.  Rose Marie spent most of her formative years near the west side of Cleveland.  She met her husband, Edward while there and they married in 1951. Together they raised a family and worked along side one another.  They formed EPCO pet supplies and successfully ran it together.  They raised a family of three wonderful children.  Rose had many hobbies and passions.  She was an avid Cleveland INDIANS fan.  She loved needle work, she could crochet, cross stitch, mend and create fabric sundry's of any kind.  She was an excellent baker. Her children were never without yummies. She enjoyed being outdoors and gardening. There was always life around her, with indoor and out door plants.  She walked, with puppies, around the neighborhood and took in the world around her looking at wildlife and watching the cats in the neighborhood who could be friends with her own kitties.

Her enduring presence will be missed by her children; Linda Hart, Jim Polaniec (Julie), Debbie Lancione (Gregg); grandchildren; Joni (Lance), Steve (Sue), Jordan (Rachel), Jennifer, Jeffrey, Emily (Baylie), Bethy (Jordan), Sarah (Layne); great-grandchildren; Alyssa (Andrew), Jackson, Wren, Jack, Westley, Nathan; great-great-grandchildren; Alayna; and sister-in-law of Dorothy.
Besides her parents, Rose Marie was pre-deceased by her loving husband Edward; brothers, Frank and Bill, sister Josephine and twin sister Mary Ann.

The family will receive visitors from 9-10 am on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Crown Hill Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow.

In-urnment will take at 10:30 am at Crown Hill abbey Chapel.
