ROY A. WOOD JR, age 78, of Independence, entered into rest Nov. 04, 2009. Beloved husband of Melissia (nee Ross); loving father of Jacqueline (David) Adamany, Anthony Farace and Linda Farace; devoted grandfather of Jessica and Nicholas Adamany. Preceded in death by his brother Owen and his sisters Lois Swan and Carol Wood. Mr. Wood was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of The Forest City Yacht Club, a member of the Rolling Thunder and also a member of the VFW Club # 3483 of Independence, OH. The family will receive friends SUNDAY, Nov 8, FROM 2- 4 AND 6-8 P.M. AT THE BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 8592 DARROW RD., TWINSBURG, OH (1/2 mile S. of 1-480 Rt. 91 exit) where funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 9th at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jeffrey Stone will officiate. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
