Northfield - Ruby Hively, 91, of Northfield, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 10:26 p.m. in her home under the comforting care of hospice.

She was born September 4, 1931 in Dundon, West Virginia the daughter of the late George H. and Maggie Darnell Harrision.

A homemaker, Ruby enjoyed cooking and babysitting.

Ruby was married to Larry L. Hively and they were married for 66 years until his passing on December 9, 2021.

Cherished memories of Ruby will forever be remembered by her children Linda Lyons, Allen Hively, Becky Hively, Wanda Hively and Lisa (Tommy) Knotek; by her grandchildren Anna (David) Mullins, Pebble Lyons, Billy (Mylene) Lyons, Kali (Nick) Jones, Anthony Knotek and Sammi Knotek; and by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Ruby was preceded in death by her siblings.

A wake will take place on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg.

A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Ruby's name to One of A Kind Pet Rescue, 1929 W. Market St., Akron, Ohio 44313.
