Ruth Ada Davis, 95, of Twinsburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday October 20, 2024 at Anna Maria in Aurora Ohio, with her only child, her son by her side. She was born in Evansville, Indiana on November 5, 1928, to the late Elmer and Lillian Sauer (nee Thornsberry). Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Davis; Mother in law Betty Davis, her brother, Elmer Sauer, Jr.; (Laura) nephews Ronnie and Richard Sauer and her sister & brother-in-law, Norma & Richard Morris.Ruth will be dearly missed by her loved ones.

Beloved mother of Kenneth (Ilona) Davis; Aunt Bonnie Morris (Chris) , Dear long time friend for over 80 years Colleen Crowle (Sandy) neighbors: Larry , Pat Miller, Judy Takacs, George, Kyndrea Kub, Stephen Effross, Christine Morton and Chris, Nichole Held  and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Ruth met the love of her life, and her soul mate John D. Davis while both worked at Western Electric in Cleveland Ohio and were married on August 22 1953. They started their life together by first living in Bratenahl Ohio, then moving to Twinsburg Ohio in 1962. Ruth loved flowers and birds and would be seen in her yard planting in the spring and feeding the birds and squirrels peanuts.

A memorial service will be held on Monday November 25, 2024 at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. The family will be receiving guests and friends at 12:00pm until 2pm and the service will begin at 1pm. Officiating the memorial will be Elder George Stadtlander. A caring cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg
