Ruth Marie Hartley Milidonis, 96, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 20, 2024. She was born on July 29, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John "Jack" and Bertha Hartley (nee Nightingale). Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James N. Milidonis; her son-in-law, Robert Dylenski; and her grandson, Aaron Dylenski.

Loving mother of Jamie Dylenski (Robert), Rev. Dr. Jill (Rev. J. Richard) Edens, Joy (Bruce) May; cherished grandmother of Ross (Lori) May, Adam (Taylor) May, Claire May, Rev. Ruth (David Zimmer) Edens, Aaron (Ashley) Dylenski; great-grandmother of Olivia, Colin, Joy, Troy, Rhea, Daniel, Helen and Jack.

Ruth was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a Sunday School teacher, kindergarten teacher in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, a docent at the Cleveland Zoo, mentor for pregnant teens, on numerous committees at the Strongsville UCC Church as well as Western Reserve Masonic Community. She traveled the world with her husband and family. She was an inspiration to our family for her intelligence, diligent guidance, constant humor and endless support. A life we are grateful to have shared.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, April 5, 2024 at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087

A gathering will follow at Western Reserve Masonic Community, 4931 Nettleton Road, Medina, Ohio at 1:30 pm in the community center.
