Shirley Maxine Vaughn, 87, of Boston Heights passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 15, 2025. She was born on August 27, 1938, to the late Lacey and Marie Phillips (nee Douglas). Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jake Vaughn; her parents; and her brothers their spouses, Robert (Betty Rose) Phillips and Kenneth (Elizabeth) Phillips.

Shirley will be dearly missed by her family. Loving mother of Pat (Mark) Jackson, Sheree Roberto Hilderbrand (Gregg Hilderbrand), and Karin (Dave) Janotka; cherished grandmother of David (Andrea) Roberto, Eddie Roberto, Erik Janotka, Ian Janotka, Doug (Heidi) Jackson, Alec (Victoria) Janotka, Emma (Eli) Allenso, and Olivia Janotka; great-grandmother of Ruth, Lily, Faith, Maggie, Lakai, Ezekiel, Andrew, Felicity, Noelle, and Jeremiah; dear sister of Barbara (George) Bates; and a host of extended family and friends.
