SIEGFRIED "SIGI" RETTKE, age 82, of Stow, went home with Jesus on July 28, 2006. Born in Germany in 1923, he emigrated to America in 1958, was a member of Akron''s Liedertafel, and was a Master Mechanic with GM/Terex for 26 years. He is now reunited with his parents, brother and sisters, leaving behind his loving wife, Elfriede, daughters Gundy Rettke, Angela (Roger) Cash and son Gary (Cheryl) Rettke. Family would like to thank the staff at Traditions at Bath Road and Hospice Care Center of Akron for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to either facility. The family will receive friends MONDAY, JULY 31 FROM 5-7 PM AT THE BLESSING FUNERAL HOME AT CROWN HILL, 8592 DARROW RD., TWINSBURG, OH (1/2 MILE SOUTH OF I-480, RT. 91 EXIT) where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 1 at 10:00 A.M.
