Susan Marie Dombeck (nee Houska), 73, of Aurora, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025. She was born in Garfield Heights, Ohio on December 7, 1951, to the late Otto and Margaret Houska (nee Fedor). Susan was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jesse Jason Dombeck; and her brother, Otto Houska, Jr.

Susan will be dearly missed by her family. Loving mother of Gary (Gail) Dombeck and Justin (Jennifer) Dombeck; cherished grandmother of Gary Dombeck III, Gretchen Dombeck, Joshua Dombeck, and Jacob Dombeck; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

A devoted longtime employee of the City of Aurora, Susan had a lifelong love for animals, from showing dogs in her youth to caring for her many pets.  She also had a passion for sewing, knitting and crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. Visitation from 11 am – 1 pm. Service at 1 pm.
