Dr. Thaddeus J Chase, 80, of Indialantic, Fla., passed away on June 9, 2023 in Warrensville Heights, Ohio.

Thad was born on July 8, 1942 to Edmund and Janina (Sakowicz) Czyzewski in the Republic of Poland. Thad earned his PhD while living in Poland, moving to the United States in 1974. Thad chose reasearch and education as a vocation, imparting knowledge and guidance at the Florida Institute of Technology; Macreese University in Louisiana; Auburn University in Alabama; The University of California in Fresno; Nasa in Cleveland, Ohio; and the University of South Dakota.

Thad leaves behind a loving wife, Barbara, and many students and collegues to share his memory.
In addition to his parents, Thad was predeceseased by his son, John Paul Chase in 2004, and by his brother, Wieslaw.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at Sts. Cosmas and Damian Church, 10419 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg, Ohio  44087, on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11 am with a burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio.  The family will be available at the church for one hour prior to mass.
