Thomas “Tommy” A. Nicholson, 40, of Akron, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, in Akron, Ohio. He was born on July 18, 1986, in Canton to Ross and Vickie (Vercamen) Nicholson. Thomas enjoyed music, movies, and guitars. He cherished spending time with his beloved family and friends, especially his daughters.

He is survived by his daughters, Adella, Athena, and Ariah Nicholson; parents, Ross and Vickie Nicholson; grandfather, Donald Vercamen Sr.; aunts and uncles, Janine Kozma, Kathy (Dick) Widner, Edmond (Tamela) Vercamen, and Donald (Dawn) Vercamen; many loving cousins; and dear family friend, Tod Wagner. Thomas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley Vercamen, and William and Betty Nicholson.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. Online condolences may be shared at crownhillfh.com
