VERA GIRARD, age 70, of Cleveland Heights went home to be with her beloved Lord on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Loving mother of Lisha Anne (Anthony) Davis and Michael Girard (Tammy) Reaman; devoted grandmother of Connor, Brennan, Carson, Kristina, and Megan; dear sister of Vernon and Philip Girard. After teaching public and special education for thirty six years, she retired in 2002. Vera was a lover of books, music, and opera. These were only rivaled by her passion for the work of Bob Dylan and her love for her house mate of 21 years, Fritz the cat. The family will receive friends SUNDAY, MAY 16, 2010 FROM 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. AT THE BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 8592 DARROW RD., TWINSBURG, OH (1/2 mile S. of 1-480 Rt. 91 exit) where services will be held on Monday, May 17 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mound Grove Cemetery, Kanakee, Illinois.
