Victoria Angelica Peek age 44, went home to be with the Lord on January 8,
2016. Victoria was born on June 30, 1971 in Cleveland, Ohio to Harvey and Suzanna
Peek. As a child, Victoria attended Shaker Heights schools during which time she was
filled with the Holy Ghost and joined the Mass Choir of the Apostolic Church of
Christ under the leadership of Elder William B. Smith Sr.
After joining the church choir, Vicki developed a desire to play the drums. Under the
instruction of Choir Director, Will Smith, Vicki''s skill in playing the drums became
phenomenal. Her harmony and timing was perfect and eloquent. Her playing was
pivotal in welcoming the presence of God during all aspects of church service. People
were amazed to see a "girl" drummer perform and minister at churches and concerts.
Bishop Smith coined Victoria as "The Best Drummer in All of Pentecost".
In 1987, the family moved to Hudson. Here Vicki graduated class of 1989. During
her professional career, Victoria worked as a Postal Employee and Mortgage/Finance
Administrator.
Vicki will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The memory of Victoria will always be cherished by her parents, Harvey and Susan
Peek, sister Alicia Ann, niece Chloe Angelique, nephews Nathan, Noah, and Josh.
Uncles; Howard (Tracey), Elmer, and Dennis (deceased). Aunts; Mary Frances
(Greg), Betty (Tom), Velma (Ray), Daisy (Ron), Bridie, Mary Love, Ernestine (Terry),
Debbie (Elder James), Constance (Kenneth), and Lisa (Hosea) and a host of loving
cousins, relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held at The Sanctuary of Praise Church in Twinsburg, Ohio
on January 15, 2015. Eulogy was given by Bishop, Dr. William B. Smith Sr.;
Interment at Markillie-St. Mary''s Cemetery, Hudson, Ohio.
