Vitaliy Vitkin passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in the arms of his loving wife Svetlana. Vitaliy is remembered by his wife, brother  Michael, daughters Julia and Katerina, son-in-law Ilya, granddaughter Mira, many cousins and numerous loving family friends.

Born and raised in Russia, Vitaliy traveled extensively. Throughout his life, he was always looking for a new adventure, a new place to visit and a new experience to share with the loved ones. He absolutely adored retelling the tales of his travels, inspiring his family and friends to explore the world.

Along with the new travel destinations, Vitaliy enthusiastically explored many successful enterprises. He was always generating new and bright ideas inspiring people around him. Vitaliy had a passion for whatever he was doing. His mind was always engaged and ready for anything and everything.

Vitaliy loved to cook. He enjoyed spending time constructing new dishes. He would not settle until his family and friends were satisfied. He spent hours creating elaborate and sometimes exotic dinners without the realization that he was creating memories that will live on in us.

He was a rare combination of someone who had a love for life and a firm appreciation of what is central – the simplicity of living life with the ones you love. Vitaliy had an acute awareness of the importance of a life lived with the ones who are dear to you. It is hard to describe all the lives he has touched. His family and friends knew him only as a kind, generous and loving person with an extreme zest for life.

At the request of the family, services will be held privately at, Hine Funeral Home, in the morning, on Monday, November 23, 2020.

Rest in peace, Vitaliy. We miss you dearly.
